Hello dear friends and fans, near and far!
Welcome to the Official Occasional Newsletter of The Living Arrows!
We write you with a small handful of happy updates.
1. Shows in Bellingham!
On Friday, May 13th we will be throwing ourselves a “going away party” at KombuchaTown Culture Cafe. Before we part ways for the summer, we want to see you, dance with you, and say hello/ta-ta for now! RSVP on the facebook event, or check out the event on KombuchaTown’s website! We will be joined by the delightful and talented Ruby Flambe.
If you can’t make the ta-ta for now show, don’t panic. Come down to the Alternative Library on Saturday, May 21st to see us play a sweet, sweet set with the gloriously magical Clay Hamilton, hailing all the way from Boulder, CO. Please join the fun!
We will also be making an appearance at this month’s Vaudevillingham, Bellingham’s monthly circus variety show! That’s on May 15th at 7&9pm at the Circus Guild in Fairhaven. Not an event to miss!
After this, Bellinghamsters will not be seeing us again ’til September…Which brings me to the next thing!
2. Records!
We are THIS CLOSE to being finished with our upcoming full-length album. It is already lovely beyond our wildest dreams, and we are really excited to share it with you………In September! Once we are all back in Bellingham, we will be throwing a wonderful album release concert & party. We’ll keep you posted on that as the time comes closer!
Also keep your eye out for a review of our Set You Free EP in next month’s What’s Up Magazine. We recorded and released it this past winter, and hope you’ve had a chance to give it a listen.
3. Tour!
After launching the new full length CD (as of yet unnamed!) into our Bellingham community, we will be meandering over to Colorado for a few weeks of September to sing to you folks over there. If you have a favorite venue in Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder, or Buena Vista where you’d love us to serenade you, drop us a line! We want to sing there! (your house included!)
